Strength Training: This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, and curls. Great Music, awesome instructor and your choice of weight to inspire you to get the results you came for and fast! No intimidation, work out at your own pace with your own weights.
Barre Class: Barre is a total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs and burns fat. Utilizing the ballet/barre/ball and light weights to perform small isometric movements set to music. Barre is one of the safest ways to change your body. Students see results in just 10 classes. The technique protect your joints as it does not involve any bouncing or jumping. Each strength section of the workout is followed by a stretching section in order to create long lean muscle without bulk. The workout launches a full blown attack on the areas of the body you may struggle with: Abs, hips, seat and arms. It focuses on tapering everything in and lifting it up. Instructor Cheryl
Body Sculpt: High Intensity Interval Training including Abs, pullups and whole body drills using light weights and body resistance. You’ll empress yourself each time you complete a workout. Instructor Joey
Spin: A cycle class that uses rapid changes from station to station to keep your heart rate up while working all major muscle groups. Resistance and weight training included. Bring your heart rate monitor to class if you have one! Instructor Cheryl, Mary
Ball: Low impact, igniting the after burn effect to help keep your body burning calories while toning your muscles! Light weights or the use of band resistance to perform small isometric movements set to music. Instructor Cheryl
Circuit/Core Fitness: A total body workout. Work in station for timed intervals working the entire body. Weight based class that covers upper and lower body. Continuous movement class style – you work at your own pace. Instructor Brenda
Pilates: Focus on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and are essential to provide support for the spine. Pilates exercise teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spin and aims to strengthen the deep torso muscles, the abdominal wall and back muscles. Instructor Jen
Yoga: These classes move at a faster pace then Gentle Yoga and include some upper body conditioning poses and flowing from one Hatha yoga pose to the next. Also great for beginners, I teach this class as a multi-level class. There are regularly new students as well as students that have been with me for years. Instructor Jen
Gentle Yoga: Less vigorous then the yoga class. It is great for students that are beginners that might be a little nervous about injuring themselves. This class move much slower then the other yoga class. It’s a great class for stretching and leg strengthening and for those who suffer from chronic symptoms such as muscle/joint pain, shoulder, wrist pain, stiffness and fatigue. Instructor Jen
Boxing: Jabbing, punching and core strengthening. Hand/Eye Coordination. No contact boxing Coach McGuiness
Hapkido/Self Defence: These classes are offered by Bruce Hilgartner as a special rate to our members. For more information contact Bruce at pvilledefence@gmail.com The first 2 classes are free. The fee is$30 monthly. It’s a low impact, high tempo class teaching self defense skills. This class will build a foundation of reactive muscle memory to certain situations.
